FeliSpring Steel Fountain

A cat's instinct reads standing water as unsafe, and most cats will not drink enough from a bowl beside their food. FeliSpring keeps 2.2 litres moving and filtered in a steel basin that does not hold bacteria the way plastic does.

In the box

  • The fountain: basin, lid with level window, spout
  • Submersible 30 dB pump, USB-C, 1.5 m cable
  • 3 filters (about three months)
  • Cleaning brush and the two-page guide

What you get

Food-grade stainless basin

304 steel. It does not scratch into a biofilm the way plastic does, and it will not hold odour.

30 dB pump

Quieter than a fridge. It sits in a bedroom without waking anyone. That is the most common complaint about cheap fountains.

Runs dry safely

The pump cuts out when the water drops too low instead of burning out. It restarts itself when you refill.

Triple filtration

Carbon for taste and chlorine, foam for hair and grit, a mesh pre-screen for litter. Filters last about four weeks.

Dishwasher safe, four parts

The whole thing comes apart in about ten seconds. Nothing needs a brush you have to buy separately.

2.2 litre capacity

A week of water for one cat. Long enough that a weekend away is not a problem.

Questions

My cat is frightened of it. What do I do?

Put it where the old bowl was and leave the old bowl beside it for a week, unplugged for the first two days so it is just a new bowl. Nearly every cat crosses over inside ten days. If yours does not, send it back.

How loud is it really?

Under 30 dB. You hear water, not a motor. If it starts humming, the pump usually just needs rinsing; that is a two-minute job and covered in the guide in the box.

How often do I change the filter?

About every four weeks for one cat, every three for two or more. Three filters are in the box, and replacements are standard sizes you can buy anywhere.

Is steel really better than plastic?

For cleaning, yes. Plastic scratches, and scratches hold a bacterial film that is hard to shift and is linked to feline chin acne. Steel takes a dishwasher cycle and comes out clean.

Can I use it for two cats?

Yes. 2.2 litres covers two cats for three to four days. Cats often prefer to drink separately, so give them room around it.

What if my cat still will not drink more?

90 nights. If your cat is not drinking more than it did from the bowl, email us and we refund you. Keep the fountain or pass it to a shelter.
